Children's Groups

Our children's groups, Stepping Stones (for little ones) and Xplore (for school-age children), offer around 35 minutes of activities based around our bible stories during our main 10am service. Children’s groups gather, term-time only, from September-July except on the first Sunday of the month (when it is our All-Age service) and third Sunday of the month (when children can stay in church and/or come to Messy Church in the afternoon).

Children stay in church for the opening hymn before going out to the Millennium Room for their activities. They then return for communion or a blessing with their family. During the notice slot, the children will be invited up to the front to share some of what they have been doing or what they have made (going up is optional!).

Anyone can join in at any time throughout the term. If you are new or your child hasn’t attended one of our children’s groups before, do bring your child out to the Millennium Room and our group leaders will make you very welcome.
