Messy ChurchMessy Church takes place on the third Sunday of every month from 3pm in St Peter's Church and the Millennium Room (adjoining the church). The term runs from September-June.
Messy Church was set up as a fun way for families to do church together. With values based on creativity, hospitality and celebration, Messy Church is an opportunity to enjoy learning about Christ through crafts, stories, games, worship and eating together. Timing and activities We meet in church at 3pm. The afternoon will always begin with crafts, activities and an introduction to the theme. At around 4pm, or whenever the activities have finished, we all come together to enjoy tea and cake in the Gresham Chapel. Who is it for? Messy Church is for all ages from 3+. You don't need to be a regular church goer or know much about church to attend. All you need to do is come and enjoy yourself. Cost We ask for a small donation of £3 per family from those who are able. |
