Sundays10am Parish Eucharist, with children’s groups
At our main Sunday service we celebrate the Eucharist. Children are welcome at all our services. On the third, fourth and when there is a fifth Sunday of the month we run two children's groups in our Millennium Room; Stepping Stones (for little ones) and Xplore (for school age children). Children can enjoy around 35minutes of activities and Bible readings on a different theme each week before coming back into church for communion and blessings with their families.
Refreshments are always served after the service. If you've not visited St Peter's before, or are new to church and would like to find out a bit more about what to expect at a typical service, please click here. Whether you have never visited us before, or you are a regular in our congregation, you are always very welcome. On the first Sunday of every month at 10am we hold an All-Age service with the all-age choir and orchestra. The service is shorter than our regular Parish Eucharist, with worship, hymns, a gospel reading and a talk. Children stay in church with their families and often take an active role in the service; welcoming people, taking up the bread and wine, taking an active part in the talk, or helping to lead our prayers.
On the second Sunday of every month from 3.30-5.30pm we run a Messy Church for families in our church and Millennium Room.
