Regular Services
8am Holy Communion
A quiet, early morning service following the ancient, eternal words of the Book of Common Prayer (1662). 10am Main Parish Eucharist, with children’s groups At our main Sunday service we celebrate the Eucharist. Children are welcome at all our services. On the second, fourth and when there is a fifth Sunday of the month we run two children's groups in our Millennium Room; Stepping Stones (for little ones) and Xplore (for school age children). Children can enjoy around 35 minutes of activities and Bible readings on a different theme each week before coming back into church for communion or a blessing with their family. On the first Sunday of the month there is an All-Age service. This is a shorter, more informal service suitable for families. No communion is offered. On the third Sunday of the month our children's groups do not meet, but children are welcome to stay in church to enjoy the service. In the afternoon we have a monthly Messy Church at 2pm in church, with crafts, activities, worship and tea. Refreshments are always served after the service. If you've not visited St Peter's before, or are new to church and would like to find out a bit more about what to expect at a typical service, please click here. Whether you have never visited us before, or you are a regular in our congregation, you are always very welcome. |
