Regular Services
10am Parish Eucharist, with children’s groups
At our main Sunday service we celebrate the Eucharist. Children are welcome at all our services. On the third, fourth and when there is a fifth Sunday of the month we run two children's groups in our Millennium Room; Stepping Stones (for little ones) and Xplore (for school age children). Children can enjoy around 35 minutes of activities and Bible readings on a different theme each week before coming back into church for communion and blessings with their families. On the first Sunday of the month there is an All-Age Eucharist. Children stay in church with their families and have an opportunity to join in leading the service, from welcoming people, reading, leading prayers and bringing up the bread and wine. Our worship is accompanied by the St Peter's Singers, our unrobed choir, and orchestra. On the second Sunday of the month our children's groups do not meet, but children are welcome to stay in church to enjoy the service. In the afternoon we have a monthly Messy Church, with crafts, activities, worship and a meal. Refreshments are always served after the service. If you've not visited St Peter's before, or are new to church and would like to find out a bit more about what to expect at a typical service, please click here. Whether you have never visited us before, or you are a regular in our congregation, you are always very welcome. |
