Pastoral Care
If you, or someone you know, would like to be prayed for then we will gladly pray for you or them. Names can be added to our weekly notice sheet that will be read out during our prayers on a Sunday morning, or it may be done so more privately through our regular prayer group that meet.
We are grateful for the Val Darkin Fund which is used to buy flowers for those who are ill, bereaved or in need of comfort. The Fund was set up in memory of Val who died in October 1994 by her husband Brian Darkin. Brian was so grateful for all the flowers and visits from friends and neighbours when she was ill at home, that he gave a sum of money to the Church. The flowers that have been delivered to families or individuals since have been grateful received and we are glad to be able to continue to help people in this way.
